PRIVACY POLICY (art. 13 EU Reg. 2016/679)

GBE UK, with registered office in Unit 9, The Courtyards, Victoria Road, Leeds, LS14 2LB, Tax Code and VAT number 1372549 08, in its capacity as Data Controller, provides this information to inform users who interact with the company website https://www.gbeuk.co.uk/ about the methods of processing personal data.

DATA PROCESSED

a) Browsing data. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, successful, error etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computing environment.

b) Thanks to cookies, a website remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as, for example, login details, chosen language, font size, and other display settings), so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user visits the website again. c) Data provided voluntarily by the user. The data relating to name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, mobile phone, etc., sent through the contact forms are provided voluntarily by the user in order to receive the requested service. The company ensures that such data will be used for the sole purpose of performing the service or performance requested, and the processing will be in accordance with this information as well as EU Reg. 2016/679. d) Subscription to the newsletter. Subscribing to the newsletter is optional for the user, and the user’s consent must be clearly indicated through a tick below the contact form. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the link in the e-mail newsletter, or by writing to the ordinary e-mail address sales@gbeuk.co.uk or by sending a certified e-mail to sales@gbeuk.co.uk. The processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent remains valid.

The legal basis referred to in the letter. A) and B) (limited to technical cookies) lie in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller; for letter B) relating to optional cookies, and for letter D), it is found in the consent of the Data Subject. For the data referred to in letter C, please refer to what is specified in the information relating to the various contact forms.

METHODS OF PROCESSING

The processing of personal data takes place, under the authority of the Data Controller, by subjects specifically appointed, authorized and instructed to process pursuant to art. 29 of the GDPR, by means of IT or telematic tools, in a manner strictly related to the purposes and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality and security of personal data pursuant to art. 32 GDPR.

The processing of personal data may also take place, on behalf of the Data Controller, by Data Processors specifically designated pursuant to art. 28 of the Privacy Regulation. The updated list of persons in charge and external parties appointed as Data Processors is kept at the Data Controller’s headquarters

• stored in a form that allows the identification of the Data Subject for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The data are stored for the period necessary to carry out the requested service, and in any case, for a period not exceeding that provided for by current regulations. For applications received, the retention period is a maximum of 6 months. For the processing carried out for marketing purposes (periodic newsletter), it should be noted that the consent given can be revoked at any time by clicking on the link in each email sent or by communicating it to the sales@gbeuk.co.uk address, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of revocation.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the principle of minimisation provided for in art. 5 of EU Reg. 2016/679. At any time, the user may request access, rectification, integration, cancellation, as well as opposition to their data, exercising the rights provided for pursuant to art. 15 – 21 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

The interested party can exercise these rights at any time, by sending an email with the subject “privacy rights” to the sales@gbeuk.co.uk email or by certified email to sales@gbeuk.co.uk

If you believe that the processing of your personal data is carried out by the Data Controller in violation of the Regulation and/or applicable legislation, you may complain to the Data Protection Authority in the manner indicated on the www.garanteprivacy.it website, without this precluding your right to appeal in any other administrative and/or judicial venue.

CHANGES

This policy may be subject to change, also due to changes in the law. If necessary, the Data Controller will notify the data subject of any changes made.
